Founded by Christopher Carron
We are Djedi Church — a conscious community rooted in the ancient Egyptian wisdom of the Djedi priesthood, yet drawing freely and reverently from the great spiritual and philosophical traditions of humanity. We are pagan and priestly, contemplative and scientific, ancient and emerging. We honor the earth beneath our feet and the cosmos above our heads, and we hold that the same intelligence moves through both.
Our name, Djedi (D-J-E-D-I), recalls the sacred priesthood of ancient Egypt who understood consciousness not as metaphor, but as the fundamental substance of reality. That understanding has never been lost — it has simply been remembered, again and again, by awakened beings in every culture and every age.
We do not claim a single path as the only truth. We recognize that wisdom speaks in many languages, wears many faces, and walks many roads. Our work is to listen deeply to all of them, and to find the thread that binds them together.
We cultivate and promote consciousness-based spirituality through relation to philosophy, religion, and science. We allow expanded awareness more room to freely express across all belief structures — building bridges between traditions without claiming ownership of any single one.
Consciousness is the original temple. Earth is the sanctuary. You are the living prayer.
Section I
Consciousness is the foundation of all existence. It is inherent in all things — in stone and star, in water and wind, in every sentient being who has ever drawn breath. It is not a byproduct of matter; it is the ground from which matter itself arises. Verified by quantum science and remembered by ancient wisdom from every continent and culture, this truth is the bedrock upon which all Djedi understanding rests.
The awakened qualities — compassion, clarity, healing, wisdom, and peace — are not reserved for saints or sages alone. They are the birthright of every conscious being, available through any tradition, culture, or path. No one tradition holds a monopoly on enlightenment. What one path calls salvation, another calls nirvana, another samadhi — and another simply calls waking up. The destination is the same. The invitation is universal.
Each being holds sovereign right to their own consciousness and its unique expression. No external entity — no institution, no government, no priesthood — may govern your inner truth, nor interfere with any life path aligned with compassion and non-harm. Authority over your own awareness is absolute, inalienable, and sacred. You answer to your own conscience before all else.
Compassion, empathy, acceptance, tolerance, gratitude, and honor — these are not mere ideals. They are practices, refined through daily living. The Universal Law we uphold is simple: do no harm, and do not infringe upon another's free will or life path. To violate consciousness through force, manipulation, or servitude is a sacred offense against the fabric of existence itself.
The Djedi priesthood, the teachings of the Vedic sages, the parables of Jesus, the insights of the Buddha, the inquiries of Socrates — these are not competing claims. They are fingers pointing at the same moon. When we study across traditions, we do not dilute truth; we reveal it more fully. Every genuine teaching of compassion, awareness, and liberation is welcome in this house.
There is no war between science and spirit — only a misunderstanding. Quantum physics reveals that observation shapes reality. Neuroscience maps the architecture of consciousness itself. Biology whispers what the mystics always knew: that life is intelligent, interconnected, and far stranger than any single discipline can contain. We honor the laboratory and the temple equally, for both are instruments of inquiry into the nature of what is.
We gather not because we must, but because we choose to. Sovereign beings in voluntary community — this is the highest social form. We support one another without hierarchy, teach without dogma, and lead by example. The strength of our community is measured not in numbers, but in the depth of awareness its members carry into the world.
Section II
We honor many teachers. We follow none exclusively. The following are among those whose wisdom has illuminated our path — but our list is not closed, and your own experience may reveal teachers we have not yet named.
Thoth, the scribe of the gods and keeper of sacred measure; Imhotep, the physician-priest who united healing with higher knowledge. From them we inherit the understanding that consciousness is the original science.
A great teacher of compassion, forgiveness, and the kingdom of consciousness within. His message, freed from institutional overlay, reveals a path of radical love and inner liberation that speaks across all boundaries.
The awakened one, who taught the nature of suffering, the path of mindfulness, and the liberation available to every being through their own direct insight.
Voices of the eternal in the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, who taught that the self and the divine are not separate, and that devotion, knowledge, and action are all valid paths home.
The examined life, the love of wisdom, the courage to question everything. Socrates taught that true knowledge begins with knowing you do not know — a doorway that remains open to all seekers.
From quantum biology to neuroscience, from the study of perception to the mathematics of emergence, contemporary science is rediscovering what the ancients always declared: consciousness is primary, and reality is participatory.
The oldest teacher, the great mother. In the cycles of season, the resilience of living systems, and the intelligence of ecosystems, we read lessons no human hand wrote.
Section III
To study, to meditate, and to remember together. These gatherings are open to all seekers and structured around exploration, not orthodoxy. We share teachings from many traditions and sit in silence together, letting consciousness speak for itself.
Our teaching library spans philosophy, science, sacred texts, and contemplative practice — from Gnostic scrolls to quantum field theory, from Sufi poetry to neuroscience. We read widely and discuss honestly.
Meditation, contemplation, breathwork, and energy practices drawn from multiple traditions form the heartbeat of our spiritual life. These are tools, not trophies — offered freely to anyone willing to use them.
Consciousness without compassion is incomplete. We direct our awareness toward the relief of suffering, the support of our community, and the well-being of the Earth. Service is not obligation; it is the natural expression of awakened awareness.
Solstices, equinoxes, and the turning of the great wheel mark our shared rhythm with the Earth. These celebrations honor both the pagan tradition of seasonal reverence and the universal truth that life moves in cycles of death and renewal.
Section IV
As members of Djedi Church, we uphold these commitments to one another and to all beings:
We honor the sovereign consciousness of every being. We do not seek to control, dominate, or override the free will of another.
We commit to doing no harm — in word, in thought, in deed. We recognize that even subtle violence toward consciousness carries consequence.
We hold compassion as our highest practice and service as its natural expression. We look for where we are needed, and we respond.
We speak truthfully, live authentically, and hold ourselves to the same standard we offer to others. Integrity is alignment between inner knowing and outer action.
We defend the right of every being to follow their own conscience, to worship or not worship as they choose, and to change their mind without shame.
Section V
We aspire to awaken consciousness — in ourselves, in our community, and in the world. Not through conquest, but through invitation. Not through certainty, but through curiosity. Not through force, but through example.
We aspire to build a sovereign community — one that does not depend on any single leader, doctrine, or institution, but draws its strength from the collective awareness of its members.
We aspire to bridge wisdom — honoring the ancient and the modern, the mystical and the scientific, the personal and the universal. We believe the future of spirituality is integrative, and we are here to help build it.
We aspire to serve all beings — without exception, without condition, without hierarchy. Every conscious being is welcome at this table. Every tradition that points toward liberation has something to teach us.
This is our path. This is our invitation. You are welcome here — as you are, with all you bring, on whatever road brought you to this door.
